200 Ton LIFTING BEAM FABRICATION cont.

TODAY THE GUYS AT ALL-LIFTS, INC. START TO WELD THE 2" X 18" PLATE TO THE TOP AND BOTTOM OF THE LIFTING BEAM

(Left) Mike M. and Mike S. make sure that the track is aligned and that the 2 welders are running at the same rate.

(Left)Throughout the welding process both Mike S. and Mike M. inspect the finished weld and watch the alignment of the torch head.  


(Left) Here is an upclose and personnel look at the semiautomatic system used to weld this beam.


(Below) In order to keep the weld leads out of the way, a special lifting beam has been fabricated to hold the wire feeders.

   

 

(Left ) You will find another job we recently completed. This 3 leg lifting arrangement is being used to lift and stack coils of copper film. The lifting arrangement has a 3 ton capacity. The hooks were custom fabricated and tested.
