These compact, PowerLift ® rare earth lift magnets are permanent magnets that have on/off functionality, but require no electricity! Not only does this reduce operating costs, but also eliminates the fear of dropping the load being lifted due to power failures.
The PowerLift ® lift magnet can be used on flat or round surfaces and contains an internal release device that does not contact or damage the surface of the part being lifted.

Our magnetic manhole cover lifter utilizes two PowerLift™ Rare Earth permanent magnets that won't mar or dent even the heaviest of manhole covers like a pry bar can. A single operator can even lift up to a 36" diameter manhole cover without twisting or straining their back!
Placed on an adjustable spreader beam with a center eye, the two magnets balance the load and will penetrate textured, patterned and raised surfaces often found on manhole covers. Once magnets are magnetically attached to the manhole cover, lift the spreader beam using a crane, hitch-hoist or IMI's levered dolly (sold separately and shown above).
The PowerLift™ magnet operates with an internal release device that does not contact or damage the surface of the part being lifted. Each PowerLift™ magnet is 3/1 safety rated to lift 660 pounds each on thick smooth surfaces.
