NYLON SLINGS

All slings meet or exceed ASME B30.9 and OSHA 1910.184 Standards.

TYPE DESCRIPTION
This type of sling has a triangle and choker fitting on either end. These slings are used in a vertical, choker, or basket hitch.
This type of sling has a triangle fitting on each end. These slings are used in vertical and basket hitches.
* Flat eye type slings are very popular and can be used in vertical, choker, and basket hitches. Unless type 4 slings are requested, this type of sling is standard.
* Twisted eye slings are similar to Type 3 slings except the eyes are twisted 90 degrees to form a better choker hitch. This type of sling also nests better in the crane hook.
Endless slings are the most versatile of all the nylon sling configurations. They can be used in all three types of hitches and the wear points can be adjusted around the circumference of the sling to increase sling life. When used in a choker or basket hitch the legs can be spread for improved load control and balance.
Reversed eye slings are an endless sling with the edges butted together to double the sling width. The eyes are reinforced and wear pads are sewn onto both sides of the body and eyes. The completed sling is very strong and wear resistant.

*EYE TAPERING:

As a standard practice the eyes or bearing points of type 3 and 4 slings are tapered,
to accommodate a crane hook on, 3" and wider. Non-tapered eyes are available upon request.
Type 5 endless slings are NOT tapered unless specified on order.
