This picture above is a job we did in
August of 2003. The gantry cranes are 5 ton capacity fixied
height. The height was determined by the over head structure
of the bridge, so that it would clear the lowest obstruction
as per CMAA and ASME standards
Specs:
5 Ton capacity,
15' span.
230 volt 3 phase. run on diesel
generators mounted on the legs
The cranes have radio controls and
were supplied with a removable pushbutton station
for emergency use.
The track is an inverted V track
Motorized gantry, motorized trolley
and 2 speed hoist.
The crane is in Louisville Kentucy
on a 3000' long bridge rebuild. From first contact
to the delivery of the 2 complete units was 3 weeks.
